Hard Burn
HARD BURN is a top-down space combat and exploration game inspired by the classic Escape Velocity series.... Pilot your ship through a hand-crafted galaxy of 25 star systems — from Federation-patrolled human space, through dangerous Barromu territory, across lawless wildzone frontier systems crawling with pirates and dreaded Rakshasi. Explore deep into the ancient reaches of forgotten space. Uncover the mysteries of the Great Collapse.
Trade goods between planets, upgrade your ship with weapons and modifications, hunt bounties, and survive encounters with faction fleets, space-faring creatures, and anomalies that will ruin your day if reckless.
Good luck out there pilot. o7

TIPS
- Best enjoyed in Fullscreen Mode
- Click the game window first to capture keyboard input
- Use the star map (H) to plan jumps — unvisited systems appear as ? until explored
- Buy Nav Charts from the Modifications shop to reveal nearby systems
- Escape Pod is worth early investment
- Game saves on landing and hyperspace jump
- Wildzone systems have no outfitters — stock up before venturing out
- Still in development and I'm learning as I go, please feel free to leave any bug notes or constructive feedback in the comments. Thanks! - Fort
